Web design and development
From the first line to launch.
Carbonline Studio designs and builds websites and web apps for businesses — new sites, and refreshes of ones you already have — then stays for maintenance and change requests.
01Services
What the studio builds
Four kinds of engagement. The scope changes. The responsibility does not: design, build, and a site that is actually live.
- 01
New websites
Marketing and company sites, designed and engineered as one piece. What launches is what was designed, not a file that drifted between teams.
- 02
Redesigns and refreshes
An existing site rebuilt: what it says, how it is arranged, and the code underneath. The aim is a faster, clearer site that is easier to change.
- 03
Web applications
Custom web software and product interfaces, for accounts, workflows, and tools people actually use — when a set of pages is not the job.
- 04
Care and maintenance
After launch, fixes, updates, and change requests stay with the studio that already knows how the site was built.
02Process
How a project runs
Five steps, named so a project has a place to stand. Nothing here depends on a handoff to a separate team.
- 01
Discover
The goal, the audience, the constraints, and what is out of scope. An existing site is part of the brief, not an obstacle.
- 02
Design
Structure and interface, reviewed before the full build. Direction is shown in the browser, not only in a slide.
- 03
Build
Implementation with the content in place, checked for speed, accessibility, and small screens while it is still easy to change.
- 04
Launch
Domain, metadata, and a handoff that explains how the site is put together and how to ask for a change.
- 05
Maintain
Care on an agreed plan, or changes as they come up. The studio that built the site stays responsible.
03Why Carbonline
Handled in one place.
Speed comes from a short path, not from skipping the work. The stack is current. The same studio stays on after launch.
01
A short path
You work with the studio directly. Feedback does not pass through an account layer on its way to the work.
02
A current stack
Sites are built with modern web tooling and hosted where they are straightforward to run and change. They are made to load quickly, and the code is kept readable. This site is built that way.
03
Start to finish
Design, build, launch, and maintenance are one engagement. There is no second vendor waiting after the launch date.
Inland Northwest
Based here. Not only here.
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington. Projects are not limited to those cities.
04Work
Selected work
Case studies go here when a project can be named, with the client’s permission. Nothing on this page is a stand-in client.

05FAQ
Common questions
Straight answers. If yours is not here, the form at the bottom is the faster path.
Where is the studio based?
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington. Projects are not limited to those cities. Remote work is normal, and meeting in person is an option when it helps.
What kinds of projects do you take?
New websites, redesigns and refreshes of existing sites, web applications, and care for sites Carbonline maintains. If a request sits outside that, you will hear so directly.
Do you publish prices?
No. There is no rate card on this site. Cost follows the scope. The budget field on the form is your range, so we can tell you whether a project is a fit before either side spends much time.
Who does the work?
Carbonline is an independent studio, not a marketplace. Scoping, design, and build stay with the studio. The work is not handed to a separate production team.
How long does a project take?
There is no single timeline. A focused marketing site and a custom web app are different lengths of work. Put the timing you have in mind on the form, and the reply will include a realistic range for that scope.
Can you start from a site we already have?
Yes. Redesigns start from the current site: the content, the domain, and whatever is worth keeping.
What happens after launch?
Fixes, small changes, keeping the platform up to date, and a clear path for larger change requests. The plan is agreed around launch, not picked from a menu of packages on this site.
How do we start?
Use the form, or email brad@carbonlinestudio.com. Include what the project is, any current website, and the timing you are aiming for.
